Miss Independent

We were at the church today setting up for tomorrow's MOPS meeting and when it was time to go, Lorelai got sidetracked by the playground and proceeded to climb onto this spinning thing- Isaac quickly followed her lead. Trying to get her and him to come with me, I said, "okay, mommy's leaving, bye!" and kept walking toward the car. Isaac, of course, was quickly running after to me; Lorelai, however, just started waving from the toy, "Bye mommy! Bye Isaac!" Hmmm...not exactly the reaction I was hoping for. She let me get all the way to the car, put my stuff in, and put Isaac in his seat. I then had to walk all the way back to the toy to get her off. She was seriously quite happy to be left there to play.
