Yummy Dinner!

Last night I really wasn't sure what I wanted to have for dinner. The calendar said salmon but we ran out of propane, I knew I didn't want broiled salmon, so that was off the table. Friday's dinner was suppose to be a calzone- flavor yet to be determined- so I decided to skip ahead to that. The following is the concoction I worked up:

Broccoli Chicken Calzone
1 pizza crust from Winco (their fresh dough)
1 jar alfredo sauce (1/2 is only necessary, I used leftover from the fridge)
1 chicken breast cut into pieces
About 1 cup of chopped broccoli, perhaps more
Italian blend cheese
Sharp Cheddar- although any cheddar would work

Cook chicken in a little olive oil and seasoning salt (I used Tastefully Simple), once cooked, add chopped broccoli and a little garlic (I used Tastefully Simple Garlic Garlic). Cook until broccoli is tender, take off heat.

Roll out pizza dough- roll it thin, it puffs up in the oven. Spread about 1/2 cups alfredo sauce, or more, depending on your taste, in center of dough. Spread chicken mixture on top of sauce, sprinkle cheese on top (to your taste), fold dough over and roll the edges over. Put in oven preheated to 350, and bake for 20-30 minutes.

It's tasty!! Enjoy!
